Lemonmint helps advance Clinical Data Use in Germany

Lemonmint has been supporting MDClone in bringing its ADAMS Center model to Germany, with the company now announcing its first installation at University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG).

UMG will become the first university hospital in Germany and the European Union to introduce MDClone’s ADAMS platform. Building on the hospital’s existing UMG-MeDIC data integration center, the platform will make already integrated clinical data easier and more securely accessible for research, patient care, quality management and the analysis of clinical processes.

For Lemonmint, the announcement marks an important milestone in the work with MDClone in Germany.

Lemonmint has supported MDClone’s market entry and development in Germany, helping the company understand the local healthcare environment, sharpen its positioning, build relationships with university hospitals and key stakeholders, and translate international experience into the specific needs of the German market.

A central theme of this work has been the transition from data infrastructure to data utilization.

A wealth of data, ready to be used

Germany has made significant investments in clinical data infrastructure through initiatives such as the Medical Informatics Initiative. The next step is to make greater use of this foundation — enabling clinicians, researchers and healthcare leaders to work with data more directly and turn it into practical value.

At UMG, ADAMS will provide authorized users with governed self-service access to longitudinal clinical data. Synthetic data will create additional opportunities for research, AI development and collaboration while protecting patient privacy.
