The summit takes place at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona — one of Europe’s most compelling hospital settings. Founded in 1914 on the waterfront site of a centuries-old quarantine centre, it has grown into a national benchmark for clinical care and biomedical research, part of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park and affiliated with Pompeu Fabra University. A hospital that has been solving hard problems for over a century. And the right place to work on the next ones.
