Erik Jylling at Data2Value Executive Dialogue

“Better data for a better health system.”

Voices from the Data2Value Executive Dialogue: Erik Jylling from The Capital Region Denmark.

At the Data2Value Executive Dialogue, Erik Jylling from The Capital Region of Denmark highlighted the urgent need to better organize and use health data to meet the challenges of an ageing and increasingly multimorbid population.

He emphasized that data must be better structured, higher in quality, and shared beyond silos to truly benefit the healthcare system. This requires stronger networking and collaboration, as well as a transformation of the health society that includes volunteers and civic organizations.

Jylling also called for mission-driven innovation – bringing healthcare to where people are, rather than expecting them to come to the system. At the same time, he underlined the importance of making it easier to work in healthcare and of strengthening prevention, so that fewer people fall ill in the first place.

The Data2Value Executive Dialogue brings together healthcare leaders, innovators, and policymakers from across Europe to explore how data can enable more resilient, connected, and people-centered healthcare systems. Erik Jylling’s message was clear: to build the healthcare of tomorrow, we must organize our data – and our collaboration – better today. Collaboration Is Essential.
